The renovation of the historically significant building located in the heart of uptown Waterloo bridges time through architecture by means of careful curatorial demolition.  Through this methodical approach, featured elements such as the original bank vault door, sliding metal fire shudders and thick rough masonry walls were able to shine through in the new life of the heritage building while simultaneously celebrating the previous uses.

The base building thus serves as a robust frame and humanly scaled architectural palette that renders an appropriate backdrop for the new technology-based start-up companies.

New mechanical and electrical systems along with base building finishes and life safety systems were installed and left exposed to add yet another layer to the architectural story of the building.
